Control Room & Equipment

Studio 1 comprises of a 128 track Protools HD system for any recording situation including live bands, programming, production, voice over editing.. Protools HD is used by the biggest selling artists in the music industry

If you are looking for an analog recording we also have Sound Craft 24 track 2", B16. 16 track 0.5", and ADATS

To get that professional sound you need professional equipment, starting with good microphones from AKG, SHURE, ELECTRO VOICE and NEUMANN U87. We are always updating equipment so please don't hesitate to ring for more information

Live Rooms

Our studio space comprises of two excellent live rooms designated to facilitate a full range of recording situations from basic drum tracks to full band performance

Rehearsal rooms and back line also available, as well as drum kits and bass guitars for hire

Multi Format Audio Transfer

With so many audio formats around it's a good idea to preserve your recordings in digital form such as Protools HD, and wav files

Tapes degrade with time accumulating mould oxide. We offer the facility of recovering your two, half and quarter inch tapes - rates starting from £35ph

Mobile Studio & PA Hire

After many requests, we have the pleasure of announcing that Genesis studio will now be going mobile.We acknowledge the difficulties in organising students and large groups to travel to Genesis studio and so we can now come to you!

Why not record your school or church choir, bands, singers, rappers, plays, recitals...no request is too large or too small

Genesis studio will send out a sound engineer with mobile studio to record you. Back at the main studio we will edit and mix your recordings onto CD and you'll be sent the final version with duplicates and art work on request

Or if it is just a PA system that you require, this can also be catered for

Digital Editing

Our digital editing facility comprises of a state of the art Apple Mac workstation which runs Protools HD

Protools HD is very advanced digital editing software which allows us to fulfill a variety of sophisticated audio digital editing operations

Our editing capabilities include:

Audio enhancement of vinyl, cassettes and CDs, lengthening and shortening of mixed songs, removal of pops or noise in a track, and much more.

Mastering & CD Duplication

Every song that you hear on the radio has been through a process called mastering. It is a process that will make your demo or master recording more polished and commercial sounding

At Genesis studio we use multi-band compression expander limiters eq. We want your mastered CD to sound good on any sound system.

Whether you need 1 hour or 3 weeks, we want to ensure that you achieve your recordings within your allocated time and budget, and endeavour that you leave the studio 100% satisfied with professional sounding recordings

Genesis studio is very passionate about the work we do within music, but we also pride ourselves in our dedicated and creative approach to the production of pop proms and music videos

Our digital video editing facility comprises of a state of the art Apple Mac workstation running Final Cut Pro HD. This is a digital non-linear editing software package which can be used to perform a whole host of digital processes. Using our suite you can enhance the picture quality of your video works - commercials, short films, music videos, home made movies..
